Save Studio 60 Group On Facebook

If you have spent much time talking to me over the last four months, you have probably heard about my fondness for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. The show has a relatively hardcore following amongst its fans, but a lot of people haven’t given it a chance. If you haven’t watched it, you really should give it a try. It’s well worth it. My argument has been its low ratings are largely due to NBC’s inexplicable decision to put it on against CSI: Miami, as opposed to anything relating to the show.

I’ve hoped they would move it to Tuesday night, or even Friday night so it could attract an audience in a better time slot. That hasn’t happened.

Now, as networks are making decisions about which shows to bring back in the fall and which to give the boot, it is becoming apparent that Studio 60 may get the boot. A group has spring up on Facebook in an attempt to save the show. If you’re a fan, I hope you’ll support them. If not, check it out next week and see what you think.
