J.J. Abrams’ Zero-Tolerance Policy
If I ever get a part on Lost, remind me never to get in trouble with the law. Apparently J.J. Abrams has an exceedingly strict zero-tolerance policy on run-ins with local law enforcement.
Of all the characters on the show that have been killed off, most have had brushes with the law. Five of the eight actors who have felt the long arm of the law tapping on their shoulder are looking for work again.
Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros got busted for DUI, and Abrams whacks their characters. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje gets busted for not having a license, and Mr. Eko gets knocked off. Ian Somerhalder gets ticketed for speeding, and away he goes. Harold Perrineau gets ticketed for no insurance and he is shipped off by the Others.
If I were Charlie, Sawyer, and Sayid, I’d be crapping bricks. All three have been pulled over for speeding in Hawaii. Will an upcoming episode feature a landslide that takes out all three?
