Harry Browne Passes

Libertarian POTUS nominee and long time advocate of small government Harry Browne has passed away at 72 after a fight with Lou Gehrig’s disease.

While working for the NM GOP in 1996, I worked hard for Dole-Kemp, but had secret hopes that Browne would do well. I’ve always leaned toward the Libertarian wing of the GOP. I could never go the full monte, though. There’s just something about legalizing heroin that never sat right with me.
