Dumb Criminals

This is one of the funniest things I have ever heard.

Allen said Dover is accused of using the clerk’s checks and credit cards at several different locations in Bentonville and Rogers before police heard the report from the Wal-Mart checkout clerk about her credit card showing up there.

“What would be the luck that you get in the line of the clerk whose purse you stole?” Allen said.

So this thief breaks into a car and steals a woman’s wallet. Two days later, she tries to use the stolen credit card to buy some stuff at the same Wal-Mart where she broke into the car. Unfortunately, the thief chose to go through the checkout line of the person whose ID she stole.

The clerk, of course, recognized her own credit card and called the police.
