Bye Bye, PoliPundit

BloggersThis is friggin’ silly.

Not that I think he’ll care in the slightest, but as of today, PoliPundit has been dropped from my blogroll. Anyone who starts a blog had better sack-up and be able to take some dissent whether that’s from those who post comments or their fellow bloggers. To that point, PoliPundit really disappointed me with the note quoted from his e-mail.

Polipundit ended a later email with this: “It’s over. The group-blogging experiment was nice while it lasted, but we have different priorities now. It’s time to go our own separate ways.”

What’s at the heart of this? Well, apparently PoliPundit is opposed to the President’s immigration plan. Not a surprise there. Not many takers in that ponzi scheme… But apparently the few takers they have include his “guest bloggers”. Now, I’m not one to draw semantic distinctions very often, but why call it a “group blog” in the e-mail to the people who post, and then refer to “guest bloggers” when announcing to your readers that they’ll just be getting your one way point of view from now on?

The answer is obvious. To the people who were writing, he wants to save relationships. To the readers, he wants to save eyeballs. So he’s all things to all people and now trying to be a tyrant as well.

Well, good luck with that, but you’ll no longer get my one referral per month. (Ha ha! Who’s laughing now, beotch?)
