The RNC Surrenders The Web
It appears the RNC has surrendered the Internet as a battleground. The marquis image on the homepage of GOP.com (see below) sends the unmistakable message that the RNC believes any staffer with Microsoft’s Word Art can be a graphic designer.
I understand the Communications people question the need for people with e-marketing skills and a certain net-savvy. I accept that they believe a web site should be all about press releases and smaller versions of the same shitty ads they run on TV, but come on.
The RNC raised 10 million dollars in January and is sitting on 3 million cash on hand. They can’t afford a designer to ensure they don’t look like the Chairman’s 13 year old son is managing their website as a school project?
