Michael Cavlan, a Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate, called Tuesday for investigations into whether the government was involved in the death of Sen. Paul Wellstone and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
“I’m very suspicious about Wellstone’s death,” Cavlan said of the airplane crash that killed the two-term Democratic senator shortly before the 2002 election. “On 9/11, I don’t know yet. But there is a lot of evidence starting to develop that is suspicious and troubling.”
